Recovery Timeline
Most clients notice meaningful improvement within 2 to 6 physiotherapy sessions. Early gains usually show up as less pain, better sleep, and easier movement during normal daily tasks. The exact number of sessions depends on how long the injury has been present, its severity, and how closely you follow your home program. Our job is to give you a realistic timeline at your first physiotherapy visit and adjust it as your body responds.
Return to Sport
Returning to sport is less about a calendar date and more about meeting movement benchmarks safely. Minor strains often clear in 2 to 4 weeks, moderate injuries in 6 to 12 weeks, and major repairs or post-surgical cases can take 3 to 6 months or longer. We typically start with 1 to 2 sessions per week, then space them out as you gain strength and confidence. Your physiotherapist will layer in running, jumping, or sport-specific drills only when your tissue is ready.
